Panic, Anxiety, and Depression: The Road To Recovery

   Welcome to Panic, Anxiety, and Depression: The Road To Recovery. I am very glad that you have stopped by. With the stresses and pressures people face in our world today, far too many individuals have, as a result, been faced with or are currently facing struggles of dealing with panic or anxiety attacks, generalized anxiety, depression, feelings of worthlessness or helplessness, and a whole variety of other symptoms or conditions. It is not a pleasant fact, but a reality nonetheless.
   For these individuals, it is so important that they receive the help that is out there that can aid them to recovery and healing, and believe me, that aid is out there! One has to summon the courage to reach out and get the help that will give them back their (peaceful and happy) life. Well, it is my hope that at least a few of my words will foster a postivie attitude in other sufferers of anxiety and depression, to act for themselves to get the help that they rightly deserve.
   Sharing Experiences and Support

   I have both an educational and experiential background in anxiety and mood disorders (through a four-year university degree in psychology and through my own experience of panic, anxiety, and depression). Given my background, I had a desire to provide a site on the web that would provide some hopefully useful information about anxiety and mood disorders, by way of links to other sites, information, and articles, by reading recommendations, and by my giving my own story of living with panic, anxiety, and depression.
Taking The First Steps To Happiness

   My only steadfast goal is to, if anything, ignite a little spark in someone, a spark of hope, that healing and recovery indeed can happen. I am living proof of that. With that said, let's move on with what information I have gathered for you here, and start learning important information, coping techniques, and means to foster a positive and hopeful attitude towards our recovery.
